About me

Hi there!

Let me tell you a bit about me. Where should I even start? Ah I know.....let's go to the beginning.

On May 16, 1996, my mother gave birth to well....me :)
I was really tiny. My aunt said I was a small as a rat.....Meh! I'm still fine. EVEN now.

At the age of four I went to Disney World, at the age of 6 I went to Canada. Since them I've toggled back and forth from Canada, America, Curacao, and my homeland, Jamaica!

Now this is common knowledge but I do love to say it:
National Bird: Swallowtail Humming bird
National Fruit: Ackee
National Dish: Ackee and Saltfish
National School Song: I Pledge My Heart Forever
National Song: Jamaica Land of Beauty
National Pledge: Before God and all Mankind
National Anthem: A prayer to God
National Symbol: Coat of Arms
National Flower: Lignum Vitae
National Tree: Blue Mahoe

I know I said this one was all about me...but how can I talk about me without including these so cherios (Y)

Thanks for reading......next time I'll definitely write about my life.

See ya

Just saying hello

Hi there!

How are you today? It's great to be alive and well. Don't you think so too? I just wanted you to know that in all things there are pros and cons. There are sacrifices and rewards. My mentor's mentor once said "Don't complain about the results you're getting from the work you're never putting in." Powerful words that struck me. Here's another one he loves saying, "If common sense makes sense seek no other sense else you end up with non-sense."

Through all my years, I've never met anyone like these people and I must say I am extremely excited that I met them. One woman said to my partner and I, upon expressing that we wanted to buy a car, "If you wanna buy a car that's great. I say go for it. However in everything there are pros and cons. In your state right now, would you be able to afford monthly insurance, service fees, gasoline. I mean, would you be okay if one morning you woke up and it's gone?"

A lot of people may see it as discouragement but in truth it wasn't. What she said was only reality. Something for us to think about. I must say, I really appreciate the thought she placed in our heads. Why wouldn't I. I don't go around thinking that our car would be stolen but how prepared are we to let it go....if it goes?

These are facts of life that I have readily embraced. Have you?

Regards,
Kadeja
